1912 Columbia Rena Opera Set "Aida"

I bought this set on ebay many years ago - it wasn't an easy transaction as i bid on it and paid then waited for delivery .................some weeks later it hadn't arrived and i complained the vendor said :

"it's been sent "

and despite more complaints i heard no more and it didn't arrive .............then over a year later a box arrived and there it was ! i've never found out what happened but the postmark on the box suggested it had been sent only a couple of daysbefore !

This is an interesting set and comes in it's original album which suggests a De - Luxe set with an inset portrait of Verdi - it has been dated to 1912 but i'm no so certain and think it might be slightly earlier but the recordings are very good even if the cast aren't that well known

Here's the album cover - a little battered
